TErestrial Trunked RAdio (Radio terrestre troncalizada) más conocida como TETRA (por sus siglas en inglés) es un sistema de Telefonía celular especialmente destinado a comunicaciones profesionales. Es un estandar abierto de comunicaciones definido por el Instituto Europeo de Estándares de Telecomunicación (ETSI en inglés) moderno, enfocado fundamentalmente a sectores críticos como lo son servicios de emergencias (policía, bomberos, ambulancias, ...) y para para transmisión de datos. TETRA nace por decisión de la Unión Europea con el objeto de unificar diversas alternativas de interfaces de radio digitales para la comunicación entre los profesionales de los sectores mencionados.
